Yanagisawa SC992 Bronze Curved Soprano

For sale is a gorgeous Yanagisawa SC992 bronze curved soprano.

Yanagisawa makes the absolute best curved soprano saxophones in all of the lands no questions asked.

A few years back Yanagisawa transitioned the SC992 into the current SCWO20 model.

This horn is a NOS new old stock SC992 model that we were very lucky to get our hands on.

Many curved soprano players will claim this very Yanagisawa SC992 specifically is the best curved soprano ever made.

This horn in a brand new unplayed horn that just came to us directly from the manufacture.  That being said we are selling this as open box as there are some extremely light surface scratches.

If you look at picture #5 on the right side of the bell above the logo there is a very small lacquer bleed dot.  Thats the worst flaw to write about on the horn.

Im not sure what the situation with this horn was, if they were holding it for possible warranty swap, or if the horn was lost in a warehouse.  Or if it was simply held for the very small imperfection.  All I know is its a stunning horn in the hands and a player is going to really love this piece.

The horn is the bronze brass variant.

There is 1x of these total available for sale.  Once this horn is gone, its gone.

From time to time SC991s may come for sale used, but its very rare an SC992 comes to the used market.   At this point when those 992s do make it to the market they are used horns.   Players have blown through the horn and spat through it on the regular.

This horn is totally unplayed with factory fresh pads and a clean body inside and out which makes this a very cool horn and rare opportunity!

This horn ships with the Yanagisawa factory mouthpiece ligature & cap.
