For sale is a Selmer Soloist E short shank tenor saxophone mouthpiece with vintage Selmer ligature and cap!
This is the very rare Soloist E with the model name right on the facing!!! This mouthpiece came with a very early Mark VI 5 digit tenor saxophone.
Its very rare to find these soloist pieces in E tip openings! They dont pop up often. Most times you see them they are the variant with the "E" located under the logo on the front of the mouthpiece. This is not that, this is Soloist E right on the table!
This is a fantastic vintage piece that really has something special! These pieces do what you want... If you want to sound full body weapy and lush you can sound like that. If you want a bit of bite and attack you can achieve that. If you want screaming leads over a big band or modern setting you can have it your way!
These mouthpieces can sound great in many settings and alot of players revere them as true Swiss army knife mouthpieces!
This mouthpiece appears to have some refacing work on the tip. We are unsure on the tip opening but the piece plays great.
This mouthpiece is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, patina, logo fade, bite marks and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage used mouthpiece!
This mouthpieces comes with Selmer ligature and cap which are worth a pretty penny by them selves!
