For sale is a extremely rare Selmer Paris Serie 1922 alto saxophone with its original case!
This horn is an insanely early 3 digit Selmer serial #887.
Recorded Selmer serial numbers and history start at serial #750. That would mean this would be one of the first ever Selmer Paris horns produced, which is pretty dang cool!
This horn has the H Selmer written text around the bow of the horn!
This horn comes with its original Selmer case. The case is not in great condition and is semi falling apart, but the fact that the case survived after all this time with the Selmer logo badge still intact is fantastic!
This horn is being sold as not working and will require a full overhaul and pad job to be a fully functional proper playing sax.
This horn has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear, patina, weld marks, repair marks or other anomalies with a 100 year old antique sold as not working!
Its really not everyday these 3 digit Selmer's come to market. If you have been looking for an early piece of Selmer Paris history please buy and pay confidently we will ship ASAP upon payment!
