The 51JS is identical to the 51J, except that the silver plate provides a unique look and brighter tone. The Series II sopranino, soprano, alto, tenor, baritone, and bass saxophones have been the professional choice for a generation and continue to be the most popular professional saxophone in the world. The reasons are clear: they all possess a flexible but centered tone that is natural in almost any playing situation. Yellow brass body tubes and keys resonate across the entire timbre spectrum: full-ribbed construction enhances their durability. This item is a MTO Made To Order item. This means the actual manufacture will build and fabricate your new horn specifically for you! Often times the only way to get the exotic variant horns and non standard finish options are to special order and wait for your new horn to be made for you.

Bach, Conn, Holton and King brass have pretty fast turnaround times. Time can vary on Selmer Paris and Yanagisawa saxophones.
