This horn is a prime era Selmer serial #68xxx with its matching #68xxx neck!
This saxophone is being sold as not working parts category and will requires a full overhaul and pad job to be a functional sax. The pads are literally falling out.
This sax has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, red & green metal wear, engraving wear, weld marks, repair marks, patina and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage instrument.
While this saxophone is an absolutely stunning piece there are some patches of red or green metal wear through the horn. There is some of this metal wear center bell engraving.
The horn comes with its Selmer factory case & Selmer wood end plug both worth quite a pretty penny!
This sax comes with its factory warranty card. Its so easy to misplace a piece of paper, yet after some 66 years of existence this horn has its factory piece of paper still intact in the case!
This horn has all of its Selmer metal resonators intact. Some of the pads of the horn are falling out but the reso's are there.
