For sale is a Selmer Mark VI baritone saxophone!
This horn is a fantastic era Selmer serial #163xxx!
The horn is being sold as not working.
Although this saxophone is sold as not working and will need repair, this saxophone is not a terrible situation and can be repaired to playing condition with not all that much investment.
Prior to being damaged this horn was a recently serviced fully playing bari. Please check out picture #24 there is a dent press in around the Eb key area. This is causing the key to not be able to seal along the tone hole properly.
Besides this said needed repair, the saxophone needs nothing else to be playable. All of the rest of the action is opening and closing properly clamping down fast, freshly setup with used but decent enough pads.
The saxophone it self has extreme patina and extreme red metal wear.
This horn is sold as not working and has its fair share of strong red metal wear, heavy patina, scratches, dings, dents, fleabites, repair marks, weld marks and other anomalies associated with such a poor condition vintage horn.
Please check out picture #22 the Selmer clothing guard was cut on the edges.
Please check out picture #23 there was a metal bar added after the fact.
This saxophone comes with a random case with no brand logo.
