For sale is an incredible vintage Otto Link double ring Super Tone Master tenor saxophone mouthpiece with vintage ligature & cap!
This is an absolutely prime era, collectors dream vintage #7* stamped link!
Otto Link double ring tenor mouthpieces are among the most sought after and collectible Otto Links one could hope for.
Fact is you just dont find these double rings ever, let alone with ever 7* stamp.
When these come up typically they are stamped #4 #4* maybe #5. A 7* stamp is a special find.
This mouthpiece came with a 1950s Selmer tenor saxophone that had been stored away for an extremely long time.
This mouthpiece comes with its incredibly rare and valuable ligature. The ligature is an "A" stamp ligature from 1 generation later.
These double ring tenor mouthpieces have a very unusual shape and very few ligatures fit them. These 1950s large dial A ligatures fit the pieces perfectly. This is how we found it so we are keeping them together. This ligature sells for a pretty penny on its own. If you check out picture number #3 you can see the ligature is a really perfect fit!
This mouthpiece is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear of various colors, patina and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage antique mouthpiece.
If you have been looking for an Otto Link double ring this really is an incredible setup so please buy and pay confidently we will ship ASAP upon payment!
