This is a real deal 37 year old vintage black beauty Neumann that sounds great recording!
This mic is a serial #39xxx. During this era its very rare to find these black case bodies. While now a days its a normal option, from this era this is a gem to find a black beauty!
This is not any kind of normal U87ai that sounds okay. This mic has an extremely full bodied, detailed sound with a really great lushness that isnt common on all U87s!
This mic is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear, patina and other anomalies associated with such a used mic.
