This horn is a prime golden era made Handcraft Martin serial #176xxx Low Pitch with the Concert Tone branding.
This saxophone is sitting on old pads and will need a full overhaul and pad job to be a functional saxophone.
This saxophone is sold as not working and has its fair share of various scratches, knicks, dings, smudges, patina, used marks, metal wear etc.
This saxophone comes with a purple lined case with no logos.
Included is what appears to be the Martin mouthpiece ligature and cap! These mouthpieces can be worth a pretty penny by them selves. The ligature is stamped with "S".
Overall when fully playing these Martin sopranos have a unique tone and feel that no other sopranos out there sound like. If you enjoy the restoration process and bringing horns back to life this is a great piece!
These Martin sopranos around this serial can be extremely hard to find. There aren't ever many for sale at once. As a silver plate horn w/gold wash bell and the rare Concert Tone branding this is a very nice piece.
