This horn is a prime golden era Conn 10m serial #269xxx with rolled tone holes!
This saxophone is one of the few British export horns with the very rare La Fleur, London engraving!
This saxophone includes 2 necks! You get the horns fantastic factory neck that plays great. Then included as an added bonus is a nearly brand new Eastern Music silver plated 10M style Power Neck fitted perfectly to the horn!
This horn is currently playing top to bottom and is a fantastic player!
This saxophone was overhauled at one point not all that long ago. The pads are used condition however the horn is sitting in an extremely nice playing/buying situation.
The horn is free blowing with a massive sound. There are no clicks, clanks or metal on metal. The horn is setup just right with felts and adjustment materials.
This saxophone includes a random non Conn brand case.
This saxophone is being sold as used and has its fair share of various scratches, knicks, light dings, dents, fleabites, patina, metal wear, and other anomalies associated with such an old antique.
The saxophones engravings feel deep to the touch however we are not sure about the full history of the horn. Its very possible the horn was relacquered at one point a long time ago.
Please check out picture #24 there is a strong patina mark or repair mark where the bell to body brace is.
