This horn is a prime era Selmer SBA serial #41,xxx with its matching #41,xxx neck!
This saxophone has its old factory pads and is sold as not working needing a full overhaul and pad job to be a functional saxophone.
This saxophone is a beautiful piece however is sold as not working and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, flea bites, metal wear, engraving wear, other anomalies associated with such an old antique.
All that being said this horn overall this horn is in really great condition with stunning engraving!
Included is the saxophones rare Selmer grenadilla wood end plug worth a pretty penny.
The included case has no Selmer logos, may or may not be a Selmer case.
This saxophone has a very nice neck with it! No patches, pickups or major problems, just some patina metal wear.
Overall the horn is an exceptional piece. These saxophones are barley coming to market these days. The vast majority of these horns show up in total trashed condition missing necks, missing parts etc so all things considered this is a rather nice horn!
If you are looking for an SBA to overhaul this would be a great piece. This saxophone features all of the factory metal resonators which would be amazing to pull out and use with the new pads for the fresh overhaul!
