For sale is a Selmer Mark VI 5 digit alto saxophone!
This horn is a prime era Selmer serial #99,xxx.
This horn features the extremely rare high F# key.
While perhaps in later serial number horns, or Euro assembled horns you see a touch more F# keys. But you just rarely ever see a 5 digit serial + American engraving + F# key.
The horns Selmer neck has no serial number and was paired with the horn at one point after the factory. Its an extremely nice Mark VI neck, it just doesn't have a matching serial stamped.
This saxophone has old pads and will need a full overhaul and pad job to be any kind of functional saxophone.
This saxophone is being sold as not working and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, metal wear of various colors, patina, weld marks, repair marks and other anomalies associated with antique sax in not working condition.
Shown in picture #24 there is a large dent in the bow.
This sax comes with a non Selmer, random not good case.
