For sale is a fantastic Selmer Mark VI 5 digit tenor saxophone!
This horn is a prime era Selmer serial #65,xxx with its matching serial #65,xxx neck!
This saxophone is being sold as used and has its fair share of strong patina, various scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear of red/green colors, strong engraving wear, weld marks, repair marks, and other anomalies associated with such an old antique instrument.
This horn comes with a random non Selmer case. Shown in picture #21 there is a small ding in the neck. The horn has various patches of red/green patina wear.
The horn is in fully playing condition, however has a few clicks that could benefit from new felt or cork added.
The horn was purchased from a music store that just had there repair tech do a full leak job. The action is lighting quick, clamping down strong on its older/used pads with no leaks. But for whatever reason that tech did not add the few felts needed to keep the action quite.
The horn is in playing condition, but its recommended when the next buyer is ready to have a repair tech clean the horn to remove the patches of red patina, and add adjustment material to some keys.
