For sale is a Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone!
This horn is a prime era Selmer serial #131,xxx with its matching #131,xxx neck!
This saxophone has old pads and will need a full overhaul and pad job to be a fully functional sax so we are selling it as not working.
This saxophone is sold as not working and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, metal wear of various colors, patina, weld marks, repair marks and other anomalies associated with a not working antique.
Please check out picture #23 & #24 the neck has a strong dent in it. The neck is still an extremely nice piece. Your tech will have no problem taking out the dent and smoothing out the area. But know upfront as it stands right now the dent exists and is ugly to the eyes.
This saxophone comes with vintage Selmer case in extremely poor condition.
This saxophone comes with vintage Selmer plastic end plug.
