For sale is a stunning Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone!
This horn is a prime golden era Selmer serial #112xxx with its matching serial #112xxx neck!
This horn is a minty closet queen Selmer in just phenomenal condition!
This horn is still a used antique with various scratching, smudge, knicks, dings, metal wear, engraving wear, patina, etc. That being said, you just dont find Mark VIs like this very often!
This horn is a fantastic playing saxophone! This sax plays loud and proud with a massive tone and is a highly enjoyable experience to play.
The factory pads were preserved well enough that the pads are still soft enough to the touch that the sax can seal well.
Specifically for this sale we have just given this sax a full setup and the horn is playing top to bottom on the factory pads.
The playing experience is outstanding and this is a top level horn with no clicks, clanks, metal on metal, with all the keys and pads clamping down lighting fast with no leaks.
Although the sax is playing right now, the pads are still extremely old so the best option will always be to get a full overhaul and pad job done however for collection purposes its a great playing situation.
Included is a Selmer case. There is no Selmer logo on the outside and the outside is in poor condition.
Included is the horns Selmer logo'd end plug!
This saxophone has an amazing neck with it! Similar to how the body has very little play time the neck is the same! Not pictured the horn has all its blue in the neck S. Overall the neck is a perfect minty specimen worth writing about!
