This horn is a prime golden era Selmer serial #100,xxx.
This saxophone is a relaq relacquered saxophone after the factory.
This saxophone has a non original neck. The size and shape look mostly right but there is no serial number, and an under brace is not what is typically seen.
This saxophone is a playing saxophone however the pads are old and this saxophone needs a fresh pad job. It will be up to the final owner if they choose to every get the overhaul or just play as is.
Although the horn needs a pad job, we have specifically just given this horn a very small basic setup to get it going. So although the pads are old... Everything is opening and closing without leaks, fresh cork on the neck, no major problems. The horn is a blows the house down and is a load of fun to play!
The horn ships with the case pictured in poor condition. There is no brand or logos on the case.
This saxophone is being sold as used has its fair share of various scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear, engraving wear, lacquer wear, repair marks, weld marks, patina and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage instrument.
