For sale is a rare P. Mauriat System 76 Derek Brown BEATBoX Signature Tenor Saxophone!

These horns are very low production pieces that were only produced for a short period of time. 

These horns have a long list of custom modification that exist only on this horn.

Typically speaking its almost impossible to find one of these floating around in the wild.  None of these have shown up on the pre owned market in years.

These saxophones were meant to be beat up, scratched, drummed on, so if one of these does come up used on the market its typically going to look in rough condition. 

This horn is a UnBEATBox'd horn for you to start fresh with!   

This particular saxophone is being sold as used however is a like new condition saxophone.

Our customer purchased this saxophone brand new and did not play it.  The horn stayed stored properly in its case.

This saxophone is the full retail package that came with the horn except NO mouthpiece included!  Included is the extra thumb rest, the percussive rings, nice neck strap, etc. 

Designed in collaboration with saxophonist Derek Brown this is a System 76 heavily modified into a sax rhythm machine.

P. Mauriat added over a dozen unique modifications to turn the saxophone into a percussive instrument.

It features a factory "battle worn" finish with custom scratch engravings, a built in guiro on the bell, a vibraslap leg guard and reshaped key work to facilitate percussive key slaps, all sorts of fun stuff.
