For sale is a King Marigaux soprano saxophone!
This horn is a SML Paris produced horn for King with serial #20,xxx.
Cannonball Adderley was famous for playing these on soprano and they are generally a beloved iconic model.
This saxophone is being sold as not working for parts category. The horn is sitting on its old pads. Its very possible to just setup the horn, but will be up to the next owner if they decide to have a setup done on the sax, or go for a full pad job overhaul.
Although beautiful this saxophone is being sold as not working and has its fair share of various scratches, smudges, patina, used marks, etc.
Aside from needing work the horn it self overall is an extremely nice piece! The lacquer is bright and shiny, the engraving looks great, and the horn just looks like it was used a bit and put away in a closet stored.
This saxophone comes with its King logo case!
