For sale is a stunning Conn 30M tenor saxophone with lady engraving!
This horn is a prime golden era Conn Connqueror serial #295xxx with rolled tone holes and its factory neck!
The horn is a monster playing sax.
This saxophone has just had a full pad job! The horn was padded with Music Medic pads with large metal resonators.
The horn is free blowing with a massive wide lush yet focused sound. There are no clicks, clanks or metal on metal. The horn is setup just right!
This saxophone is being sold as used and has its fair share of various scratches, knicks, light dings, fleabites, patina, metal wear, and other anomalies associated with such an old antique.
While this saxophone is beautiful this sax has strong red/green patina. It can be seen in many of the pictures on the left side of the bell. Its very possible to remove that patina, however the horn is such a rare, scarce piece we didn't want to change how it currently sits.
These horns have extremely delicate lacquer. Whenever you clean or remove patina even the most non invasive cleaning you are still removing some level of lacquer leaving that area to possibly look different. If the next owner wants to clean that up a bit it will be on them.
This saxophone includes a random non Conn brand case.
Its extremely rare for any Conn 30Ms to come to market. Typically when they do show up they are missing the neck or a relacquered horn, pickups/patches on the neck, missing parts, needing pad job, or other weird problems. All things considered this horn is a fantastic piece in a great buying position with a full fresh pad job ready for you to play!
This horn is on sale at our Los Angeles, California saxophone showroom store and can sell at any point so if you have been looking for a Conn tenor please buy and pay confidently we will ship ASAP upon payment!
