For sale is a fantastic Buescher 400 Top Hat & Cane alto saxophone!
This horn is a prime golden era Buescher serial #342xxx.
This horn features the beautiful castle engraved scene!
This horn is sitting on old pads and will need a full overhaul and pad job to be a perfect modern playing saxophone so please plan on bringing to your repair tech.
This saxophone is sold as not working and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear, heavy patina, repair marks, and other anomalies with such an old antique.
The neck has some dents and is a bit out of round. Also has green patina on it that can be cleaned right off.
Please take a look at picture #24, the low Eb tone hole and surrounding areas are pretty patina'd up that will need to be cleaned off during the overhaul process.
There is no case included with this saxophone.
This saxophone has an extremely beautiful finish patina that players collectors specifically look for. This horn would be a perfect horn to fully overhaul and bring back to life!
