For sale is an unbelievably rare Dukoff D9 transitional baritone sax mouthpiece!
These mouthpieces are extremely scarce and dont traditionally come from sale.
These pieces were made in the mid 1960s prior to the current production Super Power Chamber Mouthpieces.
These mouthpieces are nice plated, solid cast brass!
Its extremely rare to find any kind of vintage Dukoff baritone mouthpieces at all. Traditionally any you find will be in smaller openings such as D5 or D6. Its just so extremely rare to find one of these as a bari at all, let alone a D9!
This mouthpiece is an absolute monster power house of a mouthpiece! Playing through my Mark VI low A baritone this piece just pushes air through!
For me baritone saxophone takes enough air as is. I find a great playing metal bari mouthpiece really makes the whole baritone experience much easier and more enjoyable!
If you had to find another one of these mouthpieces it would be actually nearly impossible. Let alone in this condition.
This is the type of all star mouthpiece that someone could use for the rest of there life and not ever have a need or want to upgrade!
