For sale is a gorgeous Conn 38A Victor Special Cornet with factory case, mouthpiece, warranty card & care booklet!
This horn is a prime golden era Conn serial #332,xxx.
This horn is just an absolutely beautiful minty horn!
Compared to the standard 38A Victor Special's this horn features extra factory engraving! Many of the 38As engraving are simple shapes with the outside boarder engraved. This horn has the extra engraving with the inside of the boarders/shapes filled in!
Although quite beautiful the cornet is still being sold as used and has various scratching, smudging, knicks, dings, metal wear, patina, standard use marks associated with a vintage of this age!
Right now the cornet just needs to be oiled and greased up and it will be good to go.
From the collector we purchased from included in the case was a receipt from not all that long ago where they got a full ultra sonic bath and setup on the horn and has just been sitting since. So its a nice buying situation.
This horn includes its original Conn case with the logo still intact!
This cornet has its matching serial number warranty card!
