For sale is a glorious Selmer New Large Bore or Super tenor saxophone!

This horn is a prime golden era 1930 Selmer serial #13,xxx.

This sax features beautiful gold plating and engraving!

This horn was made at the very end of the New Large Bore run start of the Super run.

Its very rare to find any kind of Selmer tenor around this serial range.  Its very rare to find a Selmer gold plated horn at all.  This is a great example of a gold plated Selmer tenor with a fantastic neck which is just an incredible thing.

This saxophone came from the collection of the late great Andy Goessling of the band Railroad Earth.  Andy had an amazing collection of instruments and this was his top gem.

This horn was originally listed as not working however is now a fully playing sax!

This saxophone has had a full tech setup and is a great playing horn.  These saxophones offer a quality and tone that Mark VIs or SBAs simply dont have.

This horn is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear, tarnish, gold plate loss, and other anomalies associated with a 90 year old used horn sax.

The clothing guard has been modified with extra metal after the factory.

The case has no Selmer.

Overall this is just a great sax.  As a gold plated tenor this horn is an extremely rare treat ready for a collector or player!

This saxophone is on sale at our Los Angeles, California saxophone showroom store and can sell at any point so if you have been looking for a Selmer tenor please buy and pay confidently we will ship ASAP upon payment!
