For sale is a Yamaha YSS 61 purple label soprano saxophone with its original case!
The YSS 61 sopranos are great designed and produced Japanese made legacy horns!
This saxophone has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, metal wear with various red colors, patina, used marks, etc.
This horn is sitting on old if not the original saxophone pads so please plan on getting a full overhaul or pad job! That being said overall the horns body is in very nice shape so no doubt once this horn is overhauled its going to be an absolute monster playing sax.
The Yamaha logo on the bell is in very nice condition! These Purple label logos were just screen painted on. You will find many horns that have no logo left showing at all. Its a gem to find the logo in such nice condition!
