Selmer Super Balanced Action SBA Tenor Saxophone

For sale is a 36xxx Selmer Super Balanced Action Tenor saxophone!

This saxophone is being sold as not working for parts only.  This saxophone will require a full mechanical overhaul and pad job to be a properly functioning saxophone.

This saxophone is a relaq re lacquered instrument!

Once again this horn is a relaq!

This horn has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear of various red and green colors, patina, repair marks, and other crazy wear associated with such an old horn.

Please refer to picture #12.  This sax is missing its clothing guard. 

The clothing guard is that little piece of rectangle metal on the back side of the horn.  This piece is missing and gone, not included.

The neck is extremely relaq.  The serial number is there but its such a relaq you can barley read it, its so faint! The neck appears to have some pull down.

This sax comes with a very valuable Selmer Mark VI case!  Once again this in to an SBA case.

Overhaul my main concern is to convey that this is an ugly duckling project horn needing a full pad job and cleaning.

If you can get the work done, or do it your self theres no doubt this is going to be a prime playing horn.

SBA tenors are so few and far between these days.   The market is extremely hot on them right now and they just arent showing up any more.   I know this one needs the work so Im pricing it right in the pocket where you can walk up and buy it.
