For sale is a Selmer Super Balanced Action tenor saxophone!
This SBA is a prime 1952 made, serial #51xxx with its matching #51xxx neck!
This horn was fully overhauled not long ago, and just came out of the shop with a fresh setup!
This horn is playing top to bottom with all of the keys opening and closing just as they should with no clicks or clanks.
This horn is being sold as used and has a fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear of various colors, lacquer wear, repair marks and other anomalies associated with such an old antique.
I cant stress enough this horn has some pretty extreme Patina! Throughout the years these horns were held and played by players with varying degrees of sweat. Throughout the year im sure the horn was cleaned by repair tech's using whatever chemicals that have may contributed to its current look.
Overall the horn is beautiful, but its important to stress this isnt a mint example, this horn has a played look!
These horns are very rarely found. More times then none Selmer's of this age are found in trashed condition, with missing necks and parts or just horrific things. This horn has it all there.. The matching serial neck, clothing guard and key guards, ready to play etc!
If you have been looking for a later serial SBA tenor to invest in please buy and pay confidently we will ship ASAP upon payment!
