For sale is a beautiful Selmer Mark VI alto saxophone!
This horn is a prime era Selmer serial #131xxx with its matching #131xxx neck!
This saxophone is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear, engraving wear, weld marks, repair marks, patina and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage instrument.
In the area where the bow connects to the body tube, around the serial number area there is some red/white patina to be cleaned off. The serial number is not affected at all and this patina will clean right off, but this is the worst patina on the horn so worth mentioning. You can see this in #11 & #13.
The horn is mostly playing right now, but its sitting on old pads. Its going to be up to you to either get a full overhaul/pad job, or some kind of COA clean oil adjust and setup.
The horn comes with a gorgeous Selmer case worth a pretty penny.
