Its very special to have this piece worked on by Ted Klum and not something you could exactly just go out and find.
I bought this mouthpiece from the original owner. He claimed to me he bought this mouthpiece brand new in box in the late 60s early 70s.
Generally Florida Otto Link have small font, and Early Babbitt Otto Links have larger font.
This mouthpiece has the larger Early Babbitt font, however comes in an Otto Link Florida box, with a Florida T ligature, and the body of the mouthpiece looks just like a Florida.
There was a point when Otto Link switched over the font from small to large.. This is that very mouthpiece that comes from the very end of the Florida period, beginning of the Early Babbitt period.
This mouthpiece is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, Knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear, patina and other used anomalies associated with such an old and used mouthpiece.
