For sale is a beautiful Conn 6m Lady alto saxophone with gorgeous gold plating!
This horn is a prime era Conn serial #326xxx with straight tone holes.
This saxophone is an incredibly rare and collectible sax featuring the full 6m lady engraving + silk n satin popping gold plate!
While the earlier Conn New Wonder various portrait engravings with gold plate are semi more common place, once the 6m model was fully established there are very few gold plated 6m examples floating around.
The front of the neck has a #7 stamped on it.
This horn is sitting on old pads and could use a full overhaul and pad job... That being said, the horn is in setup playing condition with no clicks or clanks.
This horn is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, patina, tarnish, metal wear, gold plate lost, and other anomalies associated with such an old antique.
The neck has a small ding/dent shown in picture #23.
This saxophone comes with a random non Conn brand case.
Some of the pictures were taken with bright photo lights, some of the pictures were taken with sunlight.
We simply took a polish cloth to the engraved areas and the horn shined and polished right up. If you choose to overhaul the horn and fully clean it the horn is going to come out with stunning popping gold!
