This saxophone has NO NECK!
This is exactly as I acquired this horn and have been brainstorming a solution, but for now Im going to list this live to see if someone can help me source a neck for the horn, or perhaps someone wants to purchase who has a neck!
This horn is just spectacular indisputably original laq engraved top to bottom with ultra detailed ornate Selmer factory engraving.
The horn is amazing to look at and has just that right Selmer look to truly satisfy every time you open the case!
This saxophone is being sold in the not working for parts category. This saxophone will require a complete mechanical overhaul and pad job! Please plan on bringing this sax to your tech for a pad job! This horn has its fair share of scratches, knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear of various red and green colors, patina, wear and tear and other anomalies associated with such an old vintage horn.
Once again this saxophone has no neck.
You will need to decide what option suits you best.. You can look for an original vintage Selmer Mark VI neck, SBA neck, Balanced neck all as great options.
There are tons of great modern options such as the Glogers, KB Sax necks, Oleg, Tino Schucht etc.
These original laq SBA altos have really become worth alot of money and its not everyday to find a horn with such a bright perky finish and distinct beautiful engraving.
