For sale is an extremely rare early Gen 1 transitional vintage Dukoff Miami D8 tenor sax mouthpiece with ligature and cap

Prior to the Dukoff Miami Super Power Chamber, Bobby Dukoff's mouthpiece operation was in Hollywood CA.

When Bobby Dukoff moved the operation to Miami and developed the Super Power Chamber the earliest models in the late 1960s early 1970s were known as the transitional era.

These mouthpieces are various renditions of what would turn into the classic Super Power Chamber.

These mouthpieces DO NOT have Miami, or Super Power Chamber stamped at this point in the run.

The ligature included is the earliest rendition of the Dukoff Vibra Free ligature.   These ligatures are very rare and sought after worth quite a pretty penny by it self.

This mouthpiece is a very cool piece of mouthpiece history!

Legendary mouthpiece visionary Bobby Dukoff unfortunately passed away in 2012.  Ever since then collectors and players have been hoarding any and all Dukoff Miami stamped pieces, swooping up any that make it to market.

Back in the day these pieces used to be much easier to obtain, but now these days the collectors market has gone crazy on them and they have become extremely scarce!

This mouthpiece is being sold as used and has its fair share of scratches, Knicks, dings, dents, fleabites, metal wear, tarnish, patina and other used anomalies associated with a used vintage mouthpiece that you stick in your mouth and bite on!

Its really not often these transitional mouthpiece's pop up for sale so if you have been looking for a Dukoff and love this piece please do not hesitate to buy and pay over, we will ship ASAP upon payment!
