{"product_id":"selmer-mark-vi-131xxx-tenor-saxophone-fresh-out-of-shop","title":"Selmer Mark VI 131xxx Tenor Saxophone FRESH OUT OF SHOP!","description":"\u003cp\u003eFor sale is a fantastic Selmer Mark VI tenor saxophone!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis horn is a prime golden era Selmer serial #131,xxx with its matching serial number #131xxx factory neck!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlthough the engraving is quite beautiful this horn is a relaq relacquer'd horn after the factory!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease check out picture #22 \u0026amp; #23, at one point this horn had a pick up microphone removed from the neck.  The area is super flat, very nice work on it, but want to make sure its being pointed out.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis horn is an amazing playing saxophone! \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis horn is a great sax that has JUST come out of the repair shop!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis horn was completely broken down separated into pieces, cleaned, degreased, freshly oiled,  fresh adjustment material as needed, a few new pads that had to be changed, new neck cork, neck to body fitting, tightening\/fitting of key work, a full next level setup on the horn, etc!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAside from a few pads we changed, the horn is sitting on old pads.  The pads were cleaned, floated, adjusted, and the horn is a great playing sax!  But ultimately it will be up to you if you ever do a fresh pad job on the horn.  If you do change any more pads it will be minimally evasive repair.  Being we just did so so much work to the horn, we pretty much did the \"overhaul\" part,  its just a matter of a tech sticking in fresh pads if you ever choose so.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCheck out picture #7 the horn was just fully cleaned to the bone in our ultra sonic cleaner!  This sax is a clean fresh tasting, fresh smelling horn!   This is not a cheap process to get done.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis sax is currently playing top to bottom fully setup with no clicks, clanks, metal on metal, extra noise, extra motion, the horns key work is leak free\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSaxophone repair work is not cheap these days.  It can take a long time to get repair work done and not everyone can be trusted with a horn like this.  This horn had an serious amount of repair work to bring it back to life and is ready to play today!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe fact that this horn has just had the full repair service treatment for this sale is a massive value add. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis horn is being sold as used and has its fair share of strong patina, metal wear, lacquer wear, scratches, knicks, dings, fleabites, metal wear of various colors, weld marks, repair marks and other anomalies associated with an old used horn sax.   The horns neck is not bad, but has some typical pull down going on.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003ePlease check out picture #24.   On the back of the bell there is strong red ish patina.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe horn includes a factory Selmer case!  The case is not in the best condition, but these cases are worth a pretty penny by them selves.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOverall this is a great Mark VI, with a prime serial number, thats ready to play out of the box for a fair price!  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese days modern Selmers can be $10k $11k+ so this price range for a working condition Selmer tenor is really a sweet spot, priced in the pocket!\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis saxophone is on sale at our Los Angeles, California saxophone showroom store and can sell at any point so if you have been looking for a Selmer tenor please buy and pay confidently we will ship ASAP upon payment!\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Selmer","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":49299652313347,"sku":"67356735673","price":5999.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0402\/9415\/4398\/files\/Photoroom_20260720_130919.jpg?v=1784578696","url":"https:\/\/www.saxstable.com\/products\/selmer-mark-vi-131xxx-tenor-saxophone-fresh-out-of-shop","provider":"Sax Stable","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
